JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working in a Wood Shop or Saw Mill
- Able to work on your feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
- Ability to communicate clearly and understand written work orders and drawings
- Positive attitude and desire to grow with the company
- 40 hr work week
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Skilled Finisher/Sprayer
Must have experience with HVLP. Training available from our pro finisher with over 40 years experience. Basic knowledge of hardwoods and veneers, lacquers, water base, and stain applications, sanding sequencing, and mixing colorants required.
Daily activities:
- Sanding, Spraying, Staining, Waxing, Dying, Finishing furniture up to Western Heritage Furniture standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Experienced Woodworker
Seeking a highly personable and experienced woodworker with 3-5 yr. experience to join our team in an upbeat, supportive atmosphere.
Daily Activities:
- Mill lumber with industrial shop machinery.
- Ability to set up blades, heads, and guides and run lumber through Band Saw Mills
- Use Straight Line Rip Saws, Planers, Moulders, Radial Arm Saws and End Matchers and other woodworking power & hand tools.
- Assembly of tables, buffets, bed frames, dressers, desks, and other furniture according to plan and instruction specific to Western Heritage Furniture.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
